GET OUT OF THE COMFORT ZONE!?

This was the motto of our first Business Sundowner Event in cooperation with Ernst & Young in Zurich on March 25, 2024. Swiss HR experts gathered to network at a high level. Host Nicole Neubauer, CEO of Personality Guidance AG, discussed with open water ice swimmer Deniz Kayadelen how athletes’ personalities can influence their performance. 

In her inspiring keynote, Out of comfort zone – magic can happen, Deniz shared key insights into how she achieved her dream of crossing the Channel in 15 hours and 8 minutes in 2019. Despite encountering many obstacles on her journey, including suffering from hypothermia while swimming across the Bosphorus during a race, she overcame her fears by changing her routine and seeking feedback and coaching to work on her mindset.
