“Today, I want you to reflect on how you are reflecting.” – Tasha Eurich, in her TED Talk on self-awareness.
At Personality Guidance, we come back to this idea daily in our work with Agile Leaders. Using Hogan Assessments and Tasha Eurich’s self-awareness model, we help people understand not just who they are — but how others experience them. Here’s a quick snapshot of the four types:
- The Seekers – low internal & external awareness. They’re unsure of who they are and how they come across. They often feel lost or stuck.
- The Pleasers – high external, low internal. They’re tuned into others’ expectations, but disconnected from their own values. Often linked to high Dutiful and Recognition scores in Hogan Assessments !
- The Introspectors – high internal, low external. They know what drives them, but they miss the mirror that feedback provides. Interestingly, they also report high levels of job satisfaction.
- The Aware – high internal & external. They’re grounded and perceptive. This is where real leadership lives. This is where we focus our work.
We use these insights to help leaders grow — in confidence, in clarity, and in connection with others. If you’re ready to build more awareness — for yourself, your team, or your culture — let’s talk.
