How to boost employee engagement and trust?
Inspired by Knight Campbell, Leadership Instructor, here are 3 tips to create FLOW in your team:
- Set clear goals with quarterly milestones: Goal-setting is a powerful driver of motivation. Our CEO, Nicole Neubauer, introduced us to the EOS method, which aligns the team through Rocks (big goals) and Milestones (steps along the way)—creating clarity, purpose, and engagement. Each Tuesday, we review the milestones in a Ninety meeting to review where we’re at
- Provide real-time feedback: Annual performance reviews? Outdated. Regular check-ins and transparent feedback keep teams aligned and accountable. The EOS system ensures structured, recurring touchpoints to track progress and strengthen trust.
- Match challenges to employees’ strengths: People enter flow when tasks are challenging enough to require full attention—without overwhelming them ! Within PG, we’re using insights to personal Hogan Assessments results, to understand strengths, risks, and values from one another, making it easier to understand each other and to assign tasks where employees will thrive and grow.
