That’s a wrap!

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of welcoming our valued clients to the Widder Hotel for an engaging and thought-provoking morning on strategic self-awareness. Over fresh croissants, strong coffee, and a bit of bircher muesli, we came together to explore how greater self-awareness can fuel performance, adaptability, and meaningful leadership.

Nicole Neubauer, our CEO, opened the morning by sharing how strategic self-awareness plays a key role in both personal growth and organizational transformation. She also introduced Tasha Eurich’s framework, which differentiates between internal and external self-awareness—reminding us that both perspectives are essential for truly effective leadership.

Building on that foundation, Garrett Shaffer, Regional Director at Hogan Assessments Europe, spoke about the challenges of change and why developing self-awareness can be so hard. In a world of constant disruption, leaders who lack self-awareness often struggle to evolve—and may miss the cues that change is needed. His message was clear: adaptability starts with reflection.

After some rich discussion and thoughtful questions from our guests, we heard from Christian Jerusalem, Director at WiseForce Advisors. Drawing on insights from his upcoming book on the 50+ workforce, he made a powerful case for rethinking how we view aging and experience. With greater self-awareness, mature professionals can leverage their strengths in new ways—turning demographic change into a strategic advantage.

To close the morning, Peter Berry, CEO of Peter Berry Consultancy and Hogan distributor in Australia, led a practical session on developing better leadership with the Hogan 360. This tool helps leaders build strategic self-awareness across four key domains: self-management, relationship management, working in the business, and working on the business. With this model, organizations can improve leadership impact, team engagement, and overall performance. If you’re interested in how the Hogan 360 can support your leadership goals, we’re here to help.

A heartfelt thank you to all our clients who joined us—you made this morning not just insightful, but truly energizing.
