Developed in the 1990s by Robert and Joyce Hogan, the Hogan assessment provides a comprehensive insight into the personality, motivations and potential risks of candidates and employees, thus supporting well-founded personnel decisions and targeted development measures. They are based on decades of research and aim to predict professional performance and behaviour in organizations.

Hogan Assessments and reports are customized to the needs of the customer.
The results of the various Hogan Assessments, such as the Hogan Personality Inventory (HPI), the Hogan Development Survey (HDS), and the Motives, Values & Preferences Inventory (MVPI), are summarized in comprehensive reports. These reports show the candidate’s strengths, weaknesses, values, and potential areas of development, and are used as the basis for personnel decisions, feedback, and development activities.

The Agile Leader report maps new leadership competencies: Humility/Commitment, Visionary/Adaptive as well as Hyper-Aware, Informed Decision Making and Fast Action. These competencies were identified on the basis of a joint study conducted by IMD Business School and metaBeratung in 2016. It analyzes the personality profiles of the individual team members, focusing on their potential, risks and personal values, and looks at the external perception (reputation) of the individuals in the team. Because the Hogan Assessments have already been completed, the report can be produced without additional interviews.
